It is the morning of the third day of my water fast. I intend to go for at least five days. Here is an update:
I don’t feel the kind of nausea that I felt yesterday afternoon and last night, but I am tired.
The good thing is that the skin psoriasis is much reduced on the third day, just like last time. The most improvement is on my torso.
I don’t feel hunger, but I really do want to eat. My refrigerator is full of berries and fava bean soup with mushrooms.
The way that I mentally deal the desire to eat, is that I ask myself what do I prefer: a little bit of discomfort from fasting, or chemotherapy drugs every week for the rest of my life? The answer is very very easy.
By the end of the week I will be able to eat tasty, healthy food like this:
As I finish writing this post, I’m starting to feel a little bit of nausea, so I will lie down. Edit: the mild nausea only lasted for a few moments, and I’m fine now. I still will lie down though. It’s 11:35 AM, and I’ve had 1 quart of water today so far. I’m wondering if I should drink water at a slightly faster rate.
